Buy now, think later.

I get free limited cloud storage from being a blink user early on (i think that's why), does any one else have that perk and if so does it apply to newer cams added to the account?

Any way to get these to record to a WD PR4100 NAS?

Remember to warp your connection with electricity tape. I don't care if you use Wago or nuts; tape and warp them for safety and long-term use.
If your connection with a wire nut isn't solid taping will do no good and you probably should not be doing electrical work. No tape on Wagos either.

Taped wire nuts indicate 2 things. Old school or lack of trust in ability.

Properly installed wire nuts require no taping and it provides no value. Do it right or don't do it.

Great deal, in for one. I have the Google nest cameras now, will see how I can include these, since I have gaps in camera coverage.

i guess i wasnt clear , my problem is my current units are 20+ feet high and am not a fan of getting up precarious ladders to change the units again over time. In the traditional ones the bulbs can be changed easily using a reaching tool ( no ladder needed).

The wired floodlight cam is trash. I got this last time and it constantly disconnects from WiFi and then will have to be reset and added again to WiFi. Google and you will see a lot of people having this problem. Otherwise the other cams are ok. I ended up returning mine as the flood light was the primary one I needed of the lot.

I'm in the same boat, let me know what you find out. I do know I've added XT2's to my account in the past and its free still. Not sure about these newer models and floodlight cameras.

Too bad there's no way to connect these to a ring account. I already have a bunch of cameras and a security system from ring but their devices are so much more expensive!

You can have multiple cameras with a single sync module. I've got a doorbell and 4 cameras all tied into a single one right now without issue.

Blink only records clips based on movement, not constantly, and the sync module only supports USB drives up to 256gb. I've had mine up for about a year and have only used ~1% of my 256gb thumbdrive.

There is no replaceable "bulb" on this unit. However, it's LED and should have significantly longer life compared to incandescent or compact fluorescent bulbs
