I can't speak to the quality of that specific display, but I'm certain you've heard that OLED can be blurry (specifically touch OLED screens) because people online talk about it a lot and blow it out of proportion. Touch screens required a digitizer layer on the display to interpret where you're touching. On some OLED displays this digitizer layer doesn't perfectly line up with the display pixels and can cause a screen door effect when looking at the display up close. But as a person who owns a touch OLED laptop, has very good eyesight and am an IT professional, I absolutely never notice it unless my face is 6 inches from the screen and I'm actively looking for it. For the average user, a high resolution OLED display is going to look absolutely incredible compared to the LCD displays you're used to on computers.

I know b&h doesn't do returns, but wondering how good of a deal this is. I was holding out for a OLED lenovo slim 14"... but from reviews it's blurry, not crisp. So I'm trying to figure out other options. And I'm not computer savvy

I am trying to hold out on a deal on the one below from Costco. Though it's an OLED with a lower than ideal refresh rate, the text does look clear. The resolution is also not as good as the one posted here.

That's the same one I want... from the specs. I haven't gone up to the store to look at it. I was just concerned with clarity. It was $50 off last month. But I was waiting for $150 to 200 off. I was debating other laptops bc of oled reviews

Lol same, no big deal.

I think it's one of those instances where it's the ones who complain are the loudest which gives the illusion that many people care but in actuality the majority don't lol.

How come it's only laptops though? My tablet (s9 ultra) is oled and doesn't have that screen door effect.

Very helpful, thanks. Do you think that digitizer layer on non-OLED screens reduces clarity? Have to assume so since …it's another layer.

Pretty good specs for the price EXCEPT for that 2242 SSD form factor. Not many SSD's to choose from in 2242 size.

Would this be a better deal than getting a snapdragon laptop like the Yoga Slim 7x for a little bit more? Best buy open-box excellent is $815 right now.
