Is HH as a hotel program worth it depends on your travel profile. Do you not travel much and stay only 2-3 times in a year total in hotels or do you have other hotel stays? If you're not a frequent traveler then I'd think location/price is more important than hotel rewards. But either way, signing up for hotel promos is a no-brainer.

Is HH as a hotel program worth it depends on your travel profile. Do you not travel much and stay only 2-3 times in a year total in hotels or do you have other hotel stays? If you're not a frequent traveler then I'd think location/price is more important than hotel rewards. But either way, signing up for hotel promos is a no-brainer.
I mean, it's free to register, and if you have at least 1 stay a year as you say they never expire- so eventually you'd earn a free night (and slightly faster with promos like this) even if you do nothing else to earn points.... so it's "worth it" in that you get something eventually at no additional cost to you.
But unless you travel/hotel stay a TON the only way to get massive amounts of points (and/or higher status with the hotel) is SUBs for credit cards--- you can knock out north of half a million points and Diamond status fairly easily that way with Hilton-- double that if you have a P2.
