Just fyi this black version is 4:3 aspect ratio, wider angle and the white one which is also on sale is 3:4, head to toe viewing angle. The white one will view packages on the ground better.

I can't speak to the wired version, but the wifi version that I've had for over a year now and it works great. The only weird thing is that you can't use your existing mechanical doorbell chime, and have to plug in their supplied wireless ringer to an outlet. The wifi version works with rtsp so you can view/record using blue iris. It's nice not to have to pay a monthly fee and no batteries to change out.

Anyone compare this with eufy?
Eufy been ok but now after a year its constantly needing resetting, the etch support are are annoying idiots, and the web portal to view on browser needs a refresh every 5 minutes minimum, and the aspect ratio is fat.... and it takes a little too long to open the app and open the camera live view... sometimes he person is gone by the time it loads up... terrible.

Why td with no comments?

Looking for a POE wired doorbell (don't really even care about the bell portion) just looking for a compact wired camera. Looking at Reolink, unifi, eufy or kasa.
I really prefer not to have Wi-Fi as I think I am too far from an AP. Pros/cons of each?

I've got the wifi version for over a year now and it's been rock solid. Integrated into Home Assistant and working with Blue Iris. Highly recommend.

Can anyone speak to how this compares to the Nest doorbell? Mine has stopped ringing on the doorbell and it's still not working after trying everything I've read online

I bought one when they first came out. As mentioned was disappointed couldn't use existing chime. They I had issues with their provided plug in chime. Didn't always work.

I had a eufy doorbell for about a year before it just stopped connecting to wifi. A lot of other people had the issue too. It might have been a software update that broke it but Eufy never acknowledged anything like that

Before that though, the Eufy was great. This Reolink doorbell has been great too. The one thing I miss is rich notifications which Reolink has locked behind subscription but there is a community workaround

I know that the Wyze doorbell is the same way and I imagine others are too (where you cannot use your existing chime). My bigger gripe is that you can't use multiple Smart Chimes that comes w/ the doorbell, just one. The good part is that they are very loud... I haven't felt a need to add another.

I have had the wired version for over a year and I am truly loving it. I have external Reolink cameras as well (wired) and they perform REALLY well--they've been very reliable.

The picture quality is very good from the doorbell. Compared to the 4k cameras, not as crisp/sharp when zooming in, but for doorbell distance people/packages/things, it is very good. I would buy this again.

I just bought this a week ago to replace a ring doorbell. I am NOT a handy person, but I was able to install it without a problem. I absolutely love it so far, but I'm bummed I missed out on this deal.
