Not sure about I don't like it returns, but they are very good about damaged in shipping. I had a receiver that arrived damaged (due to carrier abuse and cheap Styrofoam in the vendor's box). They sent another with enhanced internal packing in the item's box and covered all shipping. First item I ever had an issue with from ASD.

Same deal is on Amazon.com, (SUB3010 for $239). The SUB3010 seems like one of steepest discounts around around, almost 1/3rd MSRP. Is it a no brainer at this price? My main concern is the 1 year warranty on the BASH amp.

Man, I would be all over this but not a fan of front-firing. Elac is excellent though otherwise.

Cats or kids? There aren't really acoustic differences between front and down.

As good of a deal as this seems to be I'm on the fence with these as all of the controls are through the app. The app has less than stellar reviews.Although, it could be user errors ? I do like the idea of auto room eq, but if for some reason the app isn't working (or they stop supporting it) it would be nice to have some physical controls. I also feel like the BASH amps have a tendency to last right up until the 1 year warranty expires and just die. While the rest of the sub has a 3 year warranty. The amp on these only comes with a one year though ELAC. Not sure about the refurbished warranty on these ?
