Good price but the retail is ridiculous. It's never that high.

Philips had a nationwide recall. They will send you a new machine free if your serial number matches their database. Might want to see if you can get a new free one first. I like my Resmed better than the Philips but you can't beat free.

I have the 11(this one) and it works great. No issues with reservoir. I noticed sometimes it will turn itself on but that's extremely rare.
Love the heated air tube on this one too. And the new mask design (full face mask with nasal pillow I think it's called?) with the tube on the crown of your head instead of in front of your face is the breast

I've got an Airsense 10 with a 100'ish hours that's collecting dust. I could never get used to it so I just wake up every morning tired af. :p

I didn't want to do the "lease" against insurance BS where they track your hours on insurance so I bought it outright. Need to find a place to sell or donate it to.

10 and 11 are pretty much the same, use the same treatment algorithm. Technically there's a "for her" algorithm in the 11 to match the "for her" version of the 10, but it's not often used. In this case it's more likely that the settings changed for Zipsport when upgrading to the 11 and they didn't realize it.

This is the best AutoCPAP currently available. Great price if that is what you need.

As mentioned before, if you have an old Philips Respironics laying around you can still get a replacement for free due to the recall, so that may be a better option for some.

Try CPAP Assistance Program from the American Sleep Apnea Association, the Reggie White Foundation, or Second Wind CPAP.

This thing sucks. I have had many APAPs and this one is the most likely to fail. The competition faltered during the pandemic. Resmed capitalized with terrible quality. Boo.

Most insurance will cover on of these every 5 years. This is built for 1. It is very sensitive motor wise. The 10 I had for yeeeeeaaaars. This one sucks

Don't listen to any of the nonsense in this thread. Had mine for two years and it's great. Never a problem

I just started therapy 8 days ago with this machine and F20 mask. I acclimated basically immediately, tried the large mask for 2 nights I think I'm settling on the medium, overall I think it's great. I don't have any other machine to compare so YMMV.

Maybe as a slick dealer, I'm assuming my HMO pays their portion to.the device supplier based on that hugely inflated MSRP.

Medical devices and all prescriptions seem to be astronomical in terms of what actual providers pay.

I actually want to start using my CPAP again, but it's an old Phillips unit that I think had a recall. I paid almost nothing for it if I recall because I went to a doctor and got a prescription. Is this the type of device that you have to buy right or go get a prescription and get it for cheap? Thanks.

A while back the resmed 10 was on sale for around $200...killer deal and cheaper than my copay for insurance. You can probably find one of those cheaper somewhere like cpap.com then the 11.

One of the things that is NOT better is the 11 can report to the "cloud" so the doc can look at your reports as needed...with the 10 it's all saved on a sdcard and if my doctor wants a report I have to run by the DME to have it generated or talk them into accepting an oscar report (linux)...the regular report is a special resmed report.

My supplier says nothing wrong with the 11, but it's not good enough to make upgrading from a 10 worth it unless you have to. My 10 has exceeded its 20,000 hour life and still purring like new. When it finally gives out, I'll either wake up and get an 11 or wake up in heaven

The 10 connects to the cell network and all of the reports can be accessed online or via the app. Manually pulling the SD card not necessary.

the misinformation in this thread is crazy. imagine a busy doctor pulling your information without your consent/collecting a copay and pulling your sleep reports

Yes, this is the latest and greatest model by Resmed. I have the previous model 10 and there are mixed reviews about this model 11. The 10 is a solid performer.
I had a couple Resmed 10's fail in a 5-year period. Daily user, never traveled with them. The hoses and filters don't fit the 11, but masks do. I prefer the hose design on the 10 as it comes straight out from the machine, the 11 has a 90 degree elbow which seems a bad idea. Filters for the 10 can be cut in half to fit the 11 if you're cheap like me.

Have had a Resmed 11 for over a year now and no problems so far. 🤞🏼

Menu on 11 is prettier with color, but worse layout from the 10. Has both an SD and cellular connection just like the 10.

If anyone wants to view and/or tweak the clinical menu on the 11, here ya go: https://blog.respshop.com/resmed-...-settings/

Settings for other machines are easily searchable.
