Good price but the retail is ridiculous. It's never that high.

Philips had a nationwide recall. They will send you a new machine free if your serial number matches their database. Might want to see if you can get a new free one first. I like my Resmed better than the Philips but you can't beat free.

I have the 11(this one) and it works great. No issues with reservoir. I noticed sometimes it will turn itself on but that's extremely rare.
Love the heated air tube on this one too. And the new mask design (full face mask with nasal pillow I think it's called?) with the tube on the crown of your head instead of in front of your face is the breast

I just got one 4 months ago, I don't feel any better, maybe worse. Only thing it did was make me not snore.

Mixed here, wanted a downgrade, the model 11 water reservoir simply refused to seal sometimes. I have to slam it with all my strength sometimes.

I still have the recalled philips, just didn't bother sending it in when insurance covered the DSII and that was a downgrade and still questionable quality
My AirSense 11 water chamber closes fine, but it seems to require more effort than it should to open it.

Other than that, it seems to be a solid machine in the month+ I've been using it. Very quiet, though fans in my bedroom would drown out any noise it makes anyway.

Look for software named "OSCAR"..it's an open source cpap report program. reads in the sdcard and gives you all sorts of things to look at.

Can the AirSense 11 do cellular and write to the SD simultaneously? I'm happy to let the cellular stuff continue to work, but this OSCAR thing looks interesting to me.

I recently got a CPAP machine prescribed to me. Can current users tell me how much does re-supply cost (tubes, filters, etc.)? Any websites to check these against the local recommended supplier? The replacement schedule also looks aggressive...is that flexible?
The "replacement schedule" for items is straight BS. It's nothing but a way to get more money from you. There is no need in replacing any of those items as fast as suggest. The only thing I can think of is possible the machine filters if you live in a dusty or allergy area of have lots of inside pets or a smoker in the house but I would just check and when you think it's time replace them.

I only replace my mask when I can't maintain a good seal. Headgear when after a wash cycle it still looks dirty and hoses maybe once a year.

There are several different cpap website supply places. There are several cpap communities on reddit where people have posted the sites they trust. Check it out and compare prices vs your copay insurance.

Yeah..one doesn't stop the other provided your model has cellular.

If you're average weight or skinny and still have bad sleep apnea, see if you can get the inspire sleep apnea surgery. I'm 5'7 155 lbs. They saw my tongue falls back into my throat so I qualified. I love not having to use a c pap anymore

What exactly do they do to "fix" it?

I've had the 10 with extra hoses and water tubs for several years. The 11 adds a touchscreen but changes the hose port out to go straight out the back rather than a right angle elbow like on the 10. I'm not clear in what if any situation this is better. The fact the hose goes straight out and none of my old hoses or water tubs will work have meant I have not considered moving to the 11.

Philips sucks! My son has been waiting for over a year for Philips to make good on the recall. Ridiculous. Horrible company.

Implant in your chest. Nerve in your neck that controls tongue clamped. Touch special device to implant. Activates. Thirty mins later your tongue flicks every few secs. Doesn't fall back into throat.

I've used the 10 for 5 years and I've never had issues with it. I contemplated upgrading to an 11 when I saw a deal for $600 but there isn't a compelling reason to upgrade. If it was smaller and more compact for travel purposes or used less current for camping then yes it would be worth it.

I got a deal on a used Airsense Mini for travel instead. But it's incredibly noisy in comparison. I also bought all manner of gadgets, hoses and covers that were recommended to cut down on the noise, but it's still not as quiet as the 10 so I still travel with the bulky 10. It's not treated as an extra carry on, so size wise it really doesn't matter.

I found that Temu sells hoses, face straps and silicon masks for cheaper than I could get after insurance paid their part from my local supply house. The quality seems similar.

Yes, it does both simultaneously. I don't check my data as often as when I started once I started getting consistent results, but I do like pop my SD card in to my computer every so often to check my data on Oscar.

Man i don't know if i take any chance on health products on temu.

The masks and hoses can last years if you maintain it properly. I have bought bunch of masks over the years to found the one I like but I am still using the one I bought 1+ year ago and working just fine. Same for the hose.
