Not all Kershaws are made in China. I have 3 that are US made. Snapped the tip of the blade off and took it to their factory in Tualitin, OR and they replaced it for free.

Got a couple civivi on sale before. They're nice quality. A little weighty like kershaw but nice quality.
Can't really compare to spyderco or benchmade. I got a bugout recently and the thing is SO LIGHT.

I recently scored a box of knives at a garage sale. Got pretty lucky. A Herman from Poland, some Microtech, Spyderco, Benchmade just to name a few. I don't think they knew what they had. I didn't either till I started looking them up.

These are not exactly 'cheap knives' either but mid tier. There are also cheap US made knives like the Buck 110 and 112, price doesn't equate with quality especially when they're around 50% off. Generalizations don't help in finding deals.
