Get some nice SS all clad gear but go cheap on the non-stick. Plus, you can use stainless for like 90%+ of the things you can cook.

Question: For items listed as "Packaging Damage" is that the only damage or reason it is being sold on the seconds site? Or could it also be "Second Quality"?
Question 2: I think this is true, but everything is still covered by the All-Clad warranty, right?

1. usually means new but damaged boxes
2. probably best to refer to their fine print.
Years ago I had a Calphalon Pro Non-Stick 2 Everyday Pan that I loved until the coating blew off. I consider this the step up in stainless. It does everything you need a 12" skillet to do, plus it's a great for sauté, stir-fry and braising. My partner prefers this pan to cast iron for burgers and pancakes.

They always have some fantastic deals, I've purchased from them several different times and I've never been disappointed.
Edit: Just read the FAQ, it gave a lot of good info

this is SS pan, hexclan is semi non-stick... it really depends what you are looking for ... personally, i'd stick to SS for all-clad and go somewhere else, much cheaper for non-stick.

Out of probably about 20 items purchased as "second quality" (including tools) there was only one that came with a small scratch and it was the outside of the pot and not deep.
Non-stick, same experience as the others, BUT All-Clad has always had an amazing replacement warranty. Just would go to the website, fill out the form (which includes proof of receipt and pictures) and receive a brand new Non-Stick pan shipped to your house.
It's been a couple years since last having to do that, so it's possible that they've changed the terms of their warranty, but over 7-8 years we are on our 3rd one. Best warranty process I've ever dealt with, no hassle.
On a separate note, anyone remember the Bon-Ton days? Every month or two they had the "$50 off $100" coupon code and All-Clad wasn't excluded. So every time they ran the sale I would buy one more piece. The stainless steel tea kettle sold for $99 everywhere back then, I remember that I bought 3 of them total over 3 different sales to gift our mothers. $49 for that kettle is worth it worth it even if you don't use it because it looks so good on the stovetop
