The time quoted for speakers is usually at a fairly moderate volume. For instance, someone listening to it as background music in their office would probably get somewhere near that. However, rocking out with loud music drastically changes the play time. Someone expecting to blast if for 6 hours could easily end up disappointed, as the play time may be just a fraction of that at high volume. And the type of music can be a big factor as well … anything with lots of bass will suck up power a lot faster than things with more high notes or vocals. The lights probably don't affect the play time all that much since the LED lights they use these days take very little power relative to the speaker function.

Anyone have one? How are they? My old big jawbone is finally about to die, I'm so sad. That thing was amazing.
I got one a couple of months ago. It's quite awesome. I always used it plugged in. Seems to give it more oomf.

This version doesn't have echo/reverb for the mic, does it? The one that comes with 2 mics does. I don't see the knob here. Any ideas? Thanks
Good catch!!! Was about to pull the trigger but read your comment. I have the version with those knobs cause I use it for karaoke. I'll wait for that version.

It does have that function if you connect with the jbl app.

If the Bluetooth/speaker is phone compatible you can probably use an fm radio app an stream that.
