To those that missed the craziest discount on those outdoor cameras last week in Amazon this would be a consolation prize.

Looks good to me. This was available at my local store the other day.
Going to replace the two Aiwits that were my first cams, since one takes so long to respond to anything or notify me that it's pretty useless.

Any thoughts on using local storage vs the cloud subscription with these? I'm not opposed to paying the $10/month for a whole camera system, just not sure I need it.

I purchased the Doorbell + Sync 2.0 + Echo Pop deal a couple weeks ago despite the warning about how bad it was. It was way worse than I thought it could be. The sync puck needed to be rebooted at least once a day. A few days after installation I had to pull the batteries out and put them back in because the camera lost connection. Did it and the following day it did it again. Mind you this was hardwired. The wires are only used to send juice to the chime in the house with this doorbell camera. Pulled the doorbell down and boxed it back up. It's gone back to Amazon now to be a deal on Woot after processing I'm sure. I got back $23 and change for the doorbell which means I paid $15 for the Pop which now lives in a guest room.

Waiting on a Prime deal on the Eufy doorbell camera now.

Went to Costco today and saw the same deal/price in store. It does have a clear list of the items included so I updated the description. Basically the Sync Module is Gen 2, and there is also a yard sign included.

That's a pretty good deal especially if you need more than a few of those components.

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention, when I saw your quote a few hours ago I had missed the deal by 10 minutes or so. Once again I appreciate the heads up and rep coming your way.

As people have stated. The local storage is absurdly bad. I would even say that it's maliciously set up to make it painful that you want to buy the subscription. You need the sync module 2 however it needs to be hard reset daily because it stops saving videos. Works great the first month or so but for some reason when your free cloud subscription trial ends the module starts giving issues.

Blink is probably the bottom of the barrel in terms of this type of equipment. They are really really bad.

I wonder why some people have such a bad experience with it and others like myseld have a great experience? Seems so random, I even have my door bell hooked up to Alexa to announce motion notifications and it works great.

I've been using Blink for several years no subscription; just save to the memory card. Works great although I never tried anything else so I don't know how it compares.
