Generally it's a good idea to get the clearance ones and allow them to substitute because their inventory is likely wrong and you'd get similar full price items for the clearance price, although in this case they may end up giving you the Wexford gel pens in 4 pack.

Generally it's a good idea to get the clearance ones and allow them to substitute because their inventory is likely wrong and you'd get similar full price items for the clearance price, although in this case they may end up giving you the Wexford gel pens in 4 pack.

They are subbing Wexford 4 pack gel pens. Never used Wexford product but a 4 pack with this deal is better than you'd likely get at dollar store.... that is if the pens work decently.

Nice, most places I look the InkJoy Gels are about a buck per pen - certainly the smaller packs and you got 6 instead of 4. Obviously this is at the discretion of the store clerk picking the order but it's hard to go wrong at this price.

My guess is gel pens are generally just going to be better, I picked up a 12 pack of Tru Red at Staples the other day and it seems decent, tips are sealed with the wax so I'm good with letting it sit without drying up.

I only allowed for subs for same brand and they instead subbed in the Wexford.
I guess I now know the type of sub requested means nothing.
