That's a nice screen. The Wi-Fi specs are very dated though. It's 1x1 and ac. It's not even ax. That was in a many year old Chromebook. If it's not soldered on you can upgrade with a Intel ax210 card for about $12 to get 2x2 ax.

Pretty good deal based on just the specs alone.

Look through Dr. Wajahat's other posts for laptop deals if this doesn't meet your needs.

zip payment looks like financing so I can't tell how to pay for this up front. I don't want to make an account just to buy this so I guess I'm out. This checkout seems complex.

Great for college, thin, relatively light for it's size, integrated gpu has some power for basic autocad, matlab, etc. It also looks excellent, which makes it a great conversation starter.

Seems like a solid laptop for the price.

The Radeon 610m isn't going to run Cyberpunk at 60 fps, but it'll definitely do a great job with basic games like Stardew Valley or even some esports titles at low settings.

OLED on a computer seems like a terrible terrible idea.
Why is that?

I'm guessing they are saying because of the possibility of image burn in over time. Especially considering how many years people typically keep computers.

The new OLED tech is better at reducing burn in and this does come with a one year warranty so I wouldn't be worried about it personally. Plus burn in is usually caused by having the same thing on the display for long periods of tv. Current gen OLED TVs are fine so these should be also.
