Careful, I almost pulled the trigger on this before realizing I had purchased a story stick a few years ago and forgot about it... Apparently I didn't find it that useful... Yet! Maybe if I had TWO story sticks...

It's a ruler made out of T-track.
" Simplifies cabinet layout".
Still not sure what its exact use is but it would make a nice aluminum straight edge for 10 bucks. Also has an end plate. Probably worth throwing in the shop and never using as often happens with my Slickdeals purchases.

This *might* be a YMMV deal, not sure. It's available in multiple Lowe's stores in my metro area.

I don't really have a use for this but figured it can double as a straight edge. For that price, may as well see.

yep, same as last comment. In for one since less than 10$, but it will probably sit in my shop unused lol. I like the idea of adjustable slides for making repeated markings, but those slides don't wrap around to the surface of the workpiece for making your mark. Leaves room for error with the placement of your writing utensil. Kinda weird, but maybe I just don't get it....

I don't do masonry work, but I believe it is used to keep courses straight. Would work in cabinetry. Probably also flooring, siding, roofing, etc. Anything that needs to keep to be kept consistent.
