Great deal. 7900xt is on 10-15% better than 4070ti super in our rasterization. If you are not big on ray tracing then this is a great buy.

Disagree. The 7900XT still ranks above the 4070Ti super in most areas, and it runs 10c cooler at all loads AND it's a helluva lot quieter.

Note: All of the general models for this dropped in price recently per an official announcement.
So for $650, this means you're getting something that is as powerful as the 4070 Ti Super, but $150 less and with more VRAM.
Now it's in Nvidia's court to respond in kind.

Nah, it's only around 30% faster. You would notice the FPS increase, but it's not gonna rock your world.

They changed their naming scheme around for the newer generation, the 7900 XT would be closer to the RX 6800 (non-XT) in terms of the specs.relative to the 7900 XTX.

I have been tempted to upgrade my 6700XT. But even at 1440p I haven't seen the need to. I think this on sale for $500-550 would motivate me enough.
