Our KBGT unit has been heavily used for nearly 10 years and still goes incredibly strong. The copper boilers are unmatched. We don't use the thermal carafe for its intended purpose as often, but when it's preheated it remains effective enough to keep coffee hot for many hours. Would def buy another unit if in the market.

They updated the thermal carafe and the new one doesn't need preheating

The 79318 version is a couple dollars more. Anyone have input on the differences? Appears essentially the same to me. 🤷🏼 ♂️

My bonavita made better tasting coffee, but this machine is built much better and has outlasted the bonavita already.

Several reviews say unexpected overflows because the hole of the container where you put ground coffee clogs. You start the coffee and come back to a mess. Those with positive reviews here, have you never experienced this?

I've never experienced this in several years... The only time it overflowed is when I didn't seat the coffee on the machine properly LOL.
