I need something like this with a straw. I find them kind of large and awkward to tip up in front of my face when I'm driving.

I see where you're coming from. For me, it's not so much about things being manufactured in China, but I do try to avoid products that are "designed" in China when I can. The bigger issue though is Chinese branded food - that's a hard no for me, no matter what.

I use these on my bike. They fit right into the waterbottle cages and keep my drinks ice cold.
Plus the cap keeps the mouth piece covered so its not covered in dirt.
