TJ MAXX and Marshalls sells non-YETI versions for $9.99 everyday.
I used one with beer at 99 degrees yesterday at the pool. Kept it cold just fine.

I must have a dozen of these floating around the house. If you drink from cans a lot they're great. They keep the cans cold for hours, they stop condensation and rings on table tops. I pair them with random silicon rings (Livestrong-type bracelets) for some extra grip.

Never leave home without one.

The only downside to these Yeti Colsters is that the weight of them makes you think you have more drink left in your can than you actually do. I usually remedy this by getting another drink to put in the Colster.

The great thing about the 16oz is that it can be converted to fit a 12oz can by using the ice inserts
The bad thing about the can insert version is they are $50. Frown

There are at least 2 that are $15 today. Click these links; no guarantees they'll be the colors you want, but they're a good price nonetheless.

I've been using the original stainless steel version on a daily basis, but have been waiting for the price to drop on these newer versions. In for 1. Thanks OP!

Is there a yeti that fits beer bottles, 12oz cans slim and normal?
The 12oz can one is designed in a manner that works well for beer bottles. (They actually even mention it in the advertising.)

It only holds the base of the bottle and the neck sticks up but the black silicon holds the bottle in. It works well enough that back when I drank I never bothered even looking for a bottle-specific version.

I was about to buy and then saw the Frost Buddy Universal. It's definitely more expensive at $30-40 each but seems to hold 12 oz cans, 12 oz slim cans, 16 oz cans, and 12 oz bottles.

Their marketing is all about how it's all-in-one.

But regardless of fit, I wonder how well it keeps drinks cold compared to the Yetis. Also wonder the comfort. If drinking a 12 oz slim clan with their wider holder, I understand it will hold it snugly, but will the lip of the insulator be annoying?

Edit: Went with the Yeti slim because I already have a Thermos can insulator for standard 12 oz. I guess I don't have a perfect 16 oz can solution but 2/3 will fit in the Thermos.

It does keep just as cold. I have a few of the universal and a few universal xl (aka big buddy) plus drink shaker tops, drink tops + straws. The metal inserts for the regular universals I leave in the cooler or freezer age switch to a new insert every other can drink, the frozen inserts will keep your drink even colder. There are all kinds of tricks for nearly every odd size of can or bottle to fit snuggly. Only modelo bottles don't fit but they have a modelo bottle only model even lol. I kept an eye on their sale/clearance page and snagged them for about 15 bucks with shaker top/drink top +straw and bumper. The xls were under 20 with all the extras and shipping included. They do mystery boxes of various sizes as well so for 150 you might get 250 worth for example but they pick colors and what you get. I wouldn't pay 30+ for them but I'm happy with them for $15 all in with extras. But on the frost buddy Facebook page people have 10 even 20+ of them at full price.. Lol. They just cabt say no to having one for every holiday and when a new color or glow in the dark comes out etc... Plus they want matching 20oz, 30oz and 40oz thicc buddy... It's like they are addicted.

Thanks for your reply!

I think I'll do like you and if I see a good deal on the frost buddy, I might snag one. Mystery box that size isn't for me. But maybe a clearance on something not too ugly haha.

Someone on Youtube compared temperatures at 10ish minute intervals and the Yeti kept a little better than the frost buddy universal. Not a big difference though. He also noted the frost buddy was heavier which makes sense since it can hold a 16 oz which the yeti he compared to couldn't.

So given I already have the thermos can insulator for 12 oz normal cans, figured I'd just go Yeti for the slim ones. If I drank more 16 oz cans then maybe I'd have held off.

I have a stainless steel 12oz Ozark Trail one that does cans, bottles and has a bottle opener on the bottom. Any reason to go with this over that? I will pick up a
Yeti 12oz slim though!
