Totally different categories of laptops and not comparable at all. One's a gaming laptop and the other far from it.
That being said, the XPS is a horrible deal at that price. Needs to be $200-300 less to be considered slick or worth buying.

You are comparing the wrong Intel processor.
i7-13650HX is the Intel processor you should be comparing to.
It is roughly 25% faster than the Ryzen 7 in this deal.
