ive retired all my roombas and switched to roborock. in 2024 theres hardly any reason to get a roomba when their object tracking and avoidance is so atrocious.

Completely agree. My S9+ is constantly getting stuck and not returning to base station. Plus my Braava decided to not shoot out any more fluid. Roomba is just not a good company

I had issues with the RoboRock. I have several critters (honestly, I should be a vac tester, my house is he77 on earth for vacs), and the RoboRock kept leaving piles of fur everywhere. It would gather up a bunch, then leave it in a pile on the rug. It would not actually suction it up.

I originally bought an Amazon refurb of this product and the refurb aspect was not good, but the vac itself was great. I bought this one last night and can't wait for it to get here. I love this guy.

I've had a lot of robo-vacs and I keep coming back to iRobot. The 600 series is still the best bang for the buck for wall-to-wall carpeting. Both of my Braavas are going strong (one is about a decade old at this point), but I also did not put third party soap into it. Not all third party soaps will wash away which is why they get clogged and stop sending fluid.

HTH!
