From my personal experience using yeti, Stanley, hydro flask, Ozark trail (Walmart brand), non bran name tumblers, they all do the same thing in keeping your beverage cold/hot
Yes, some may keep a beverage colder or hotter for 30min-1 hour but in a span of 8-24hours its very insignificant
Aside from brand recognition and clout some brands have, there's also differences in style and size to fit your personal use case
I personally go for yeti for their mag slider lid because it's very easy to clean compared to plastic sliders that collect gunk overtime and a hassle to remove and clean

They lost market share to Stanley and others. I have a cheap insulated cup from Walmart that objectively holds ice way longer than Yeti. Yeti used to be a top brand but not anymore.

Not sure why you need beverages kept cold for 24 hours. I'm not drinking water or whatever has been sitting in my cup for a full ass day. If I'm hydrating it's in there for an hour or two at most. However, where these cups shine is in the summer when you're out doing errands so you have cool water even when your cars interior is over 100 degrees.
Paint peel on my yeti in the dishwasher is far worse than with the ozark trail. I had to strip all the paint off, it got so bad the wife wanted to throw it out.

But the description says: "The tough Duracoat coating on the colored tumblers won't crack, peel or fade."
Does anyone know if standard Yeti slide lids will also work on this one? I have a few of those from other cups, but I have no use for the straw/lid on this.

Yeah, that's not true at all. You'll be much better off if you handwash but I'm too lazy. My thermador (Bosch) is also a beast and tends to strip the coating off of other things as well.

Are they all dishwasher safe? As far as these fancy tumblers and water bottles go, I only have Contigo and Yeti. However, Contigo is not dishwasher safe (other than the lid). Whereas, Yeti is.
