Can't agree more! I've wasted a lot of money not knowing that BR factory online is the worst quality clothing ever. They fade and look worn out soon after washing. Don't waste your money!

There's plenty of quality clothing deals at the real Banana Republic but staff insists on posting the BR Factory stuff for $10. BR Factory may be paying to get these "deals" sponsored to move that merchandise and Slickdeals is cool with it even if it wastes its users' money and degrades the quality of deals offers on the site. Slickdeals likely doesn't do anything about it because it's probably not seeing a decline in active users (or it's hard to correlate these bad deals with a decline in active users).

I bought a suit set last week. Why should I be concerned, even though the items have lots of good reviews? Better off at my local banana republic outlet?

Not sure BR has outlets. Their store at the Premium Outlets by me is BR Factory, which is this junk.

Oh wait, you're right it's the Factory Store. Don't really shop at BR in general, but was looking for some nice suits and pants for a wedding.

The only decent thing from BR Factory is their Travel Pants/Jeans. Everything else I've bought from them shrunk horribly and was cheaply made.

I concur. Still have jeans from BR Factory from more than a decade in really good shape
