The CPU is overkill for the 4070, but at least if you want to upgrade the GPU down the road you probably won't need to upgrade your CPU.

Beware that Intel 13/4900k CPUs are still having crashing issues with some games.

I heard this was a mobo voltage issue in a lot of cases?

The code is for Zip financing only it doesn't work with other forms of payment.

Just checked without zip financing that you can get similar price via Amazon, Walmart, or Adorama with different financing options. Happy shopping. 😉

I bought an iBP 4 years ago. Had serious overheating issues out of the box from Costco. They sent me a new graphics card (2070 super) and still had issues, so they replaced CPU. Been running fine since then. It could use a fresh windows install but overall I've been happy.

I bought this from Best Buy in Dec/Jan for $1700. I am really enjoying it, no issues so far except to say that I'm surprised how fast I used up a terabyte (been a console gamer for the last few years) and Helldivers 2 and Wallpaper Engine occasionally give it fits. I did upgrade all the peripherals, the ReDragon stuff is servicable but not great.

Who paid for all the shipping during this?

Its a runaway auto-overclock issue (enabled by default). If you clock it back yourself by hard limiting the oc levels (which intel calls turbo boost but its literally just overclocking) or just turn off oc entirely since you wont need even a fraction of that cpu to run that gpu, it works fine.

Ordered one yesterday, but now Newegg is showing status as "delayed".

Anyway, there is also another option with i9-14900F. But 2TB SSD and MSI at Costco ($1499)

The bottom is dropping on Intel 13th and 14th gen computers because the chips have a serious, unfixable hardware flaw. Make sure to get a warranty if you buy Intel!

Had this issue with an i9+4070 CyberPowerPC combo. Was a headache to resolve but seems to be perfectly stable, finally, after 6mos of mucking around with it

I like this one from Costco, but it is air cooled, not water cooled. Is liquid cooling better for this CPU?

And that they reportedly double as space heaters.
