I would stay clear of these deals if you live in S Florida. There are "3" service providers. One doesn't do warranty work so out of pocket. The second one does a fee for an estimate that is returned if it is warranty work. The third never bothered to call back or respond to email.

Called ryobi and was told keep contacting them and sorry.

Bought this exact one last night at this price. Reviews say it leaks oil after first use. Hoping reconditioned means people returned and they fixed but time will tell

Yeah I got this deal. Ended up $275 with tax and shipping. The first one came in and looked brand new unopened. Unfortunately it didn't start, had a torn paper gasket on the carb and carb was probably clogged because it was dumping gas onto the filter. Took about 3 weeks to get another sent to me. These were supposed to be "factory blemished" not reconditioned but the second one came in used with gas and oil in the tanks. Started right up though, so I kept it...

For a gas pressure washer this is on the low end of gpm I think. I've heard that gpm is pretty useful over just psi

Most people do not do the proper research and do not understand this is not just some random clearance store. If you buy from anywhere else other than HD or DTO, you are NOT getting warranty. Direct Tools Outlet is owned by the Techtronic, the parent company of Ryobi, Milwaukee, Ridgid.... There is a HUGE difference in buying from an Amazon, amazon seller, ebay, etc... and HomeDepot and DirectToolsOutlet. HD and DTO are the ONLY authorized resellers in the US for Ryobi. Your receipt from elsewhere will not be honored for warranty.

If you buy from some random store for a good deal, of course you're going to have a headache when there is a warranty issue. DTO is not a random store. For power tools they give you a shipping label (they pay) to mail in for warranty. If it is a large power tool, you have to take it to a local authorized repair with proof of warranty.

DTO experience has been well discussed on reddit ryobi sub both in terms of blem and recon.

The seller is the manufacturer of Ryobi, Milwaukee, and other brands. They back it up with their warranty service which I have never had to use.
