Edit: Did some digging, and some credit cards will grant you 1 additional year of warranty to new purchases under specific conditions and with some limitations and exceptions. However, not all cards have this benefit!!! The Apple Card, for instance, does not offer any extended warranty. So, please check your credit card's benefits at the time of purchase to make sure.

Of course specific branded cards don't offer it, such as you mentioned the Apple card, Best Buy Citi card, among others - because those brands know you will be using those cards to make purchases at their stores and they want you to buy their extended warranty on their products. That is why I said "with a credit card that extends the warranty." However, it's really Visa/Mastercard/Amex who offer this benefit.
