I heard that secret service was holding out for this deal on Prime Day. Turns out they should have just purchased for retail on Friday w/ one day shipping

I recommend sunglasses first, to replace the regular glasses they used black spray paint on and couldn't see out of.

Yeah, my Otterbox Defender case is too big for the controller so setup takes me 5 min almost. Phone out of case, plug in, turn on, wait, etc...

So does having the RC remote at least ensure that you can use this and wont be locked out if the rules change? Somebody else here asked whether it requires a frequent web login to remain functional which was a great question. Would appreciate if anybody that owns this can answer that

Agree I am a fan of obstacle avoidance. But as a new to drone guy too, getting DJI care regardless should be weighted in. The 1 or 2 year cost (your option) will cover loosing a drone or two. AND If you go with better drone, DJI care is obviously more $ per year as well. Just to say some things to consider. If really on a budget, this non-pro drone and DJI care, or get the Pro with obstacle avoidance and now limited cash left for DJI care.
