Would totally cop this if I was already familiar with liquid cooling. I believe performance sits between a 7800XT and 7900 GRE, but with a higher power draw.

So last time this was on sale I asked if you could convert it to air cooled with a MORPHEUS 8069...nobody responded, so I emailed the company and this was their response:
"Thank you for your mail and interest. Theoretically yes… but we need to see the PCB to make a statement."
I wasnt going to take a gamble on ordering it...but could be an option
Tbh, not a bad price but buying outdated watercooled gpu is just going to be pain in butt. If you are really that 20yo that has passion in hardwares but don't have that much budget and thinks this is going to be a first step for fully watercooled system, go ahead. If not, I'd stay away

I'd guess that the PCB is the same as their air cooled model. I think it would be very wasteful to redesign the PCB to accommodate a water block, whwn it's so much easier to design a water block to fit an existing PCB, especially since air-cooling is so much larger.
There's probably some review/teardown of this card out there.
But if you're going to go through the trouble of replacing the cooler on a new card you're probably better off just looking on eBay for a used one with an air cooler already.
Noped out when I saw you need an external water cooling setup. I'm sure there are folks with niche needs who will jump on this. It's a great deal for someone with a specific setup.
First time builder build a watercool? God no. I have build 100x PCs yet hesitate to try a water cooled. So many things you can mess up. I would guess being a plumber may help...?
It's such a waste of time/money/effort. Last weekend I had to repair my waterblock w/ JB Weld because it was leaking all over my PSU. And you have to flush it and replace the coolant a couple times a year. It grows algae! The parts corrode. You need countless adapters and fittings. The list goes on.
If you really want water cooling for temps/noise, get an AIO with a big radiator.

so awhile back, i saw this Titan One Lian Li mini for about 300 buck on sale at micro center. I didn't need a computer at the time but now im building one and its back to 500 now, however i think that combo deal is a great base built for this card here, the price and performance is just one of the best you can get right now in the market. not only that, it looks freaking amazing, especially if u pair with the Titan One mini build here.

If you're just starting out, get soft tubes, quick release fittings, rad, squeeze bottle, pump + res combo, and a hand screw valve
If you want hard tube you can get the corsair kit. But it's marked up because of branding and convenience
