This is the same outfit that let me order a new one for $100 months ago (along with the $35 plan), and then sat on the order for weeks before saying they were sold out.
You would then have an unactivated phone that could be used on wifi (like a mini iPad). After 60 days, the phone would become unlocked so it could be used on another carrier? Am I missing any details here? For us, the use case would be to have an unactivated phone for our child to use (for things like FaceTime and YouTube) when connected to wifi.

However, just wondering same ATT service, this phone has very weak signal receiving(SOS service). Other phones has at least 2 bars signal.
Do I have to do any adjustment?

Physical sim and esim both require phone be unlocked before using on different network.
