Had to send mine to Texas for evaluation, they will then evaluate and let me know if its covered under warranty. Support is basically one reply every other day. Mine crapped out 3 months into everyday use.

It can be operated locally, and no data is sent to Xiaomi's servers

What happened to it? I've got a refurbished unit that I've been using every other day for a little over a month now, and have been doing the basic maintenance

One of the wheels wouldn't turn, I thought maybe something got stuck but I did everything they asked me to do with no luck. It was delivered to them last Friday, waiting to hear back.

Ok thanks was just curious if it's a richer feature set or just the privacy piece (which is a fair concern for many)

How do you register / prove you have the 2 year warranty through Allstate/square trade?

I got one and it came basically brand new with plastic wrap and everything. However I noticed right out of the box, there is a pretty loud and rapid clicking noise even when the robot is barely moving:

Anyone have a similar noise? Contemplating sending it back as it sounds like something is definitely loose or broken inside. Again, this is from day 1 even during the first fast mapping.
