Just a heads-up for those that buy the Best Buy eGC. When inputing the e-cardnumber during BBY checkout, make sure you DO NOT copy/paste the cardnumber from the code redemption page into the BBY checkout field. It will error out and say the code is invalid due to adding the "space" characters of the cardnumbers into the BBY checkout field, though the space characters will not be visible.

Instead, just type out the numbers into the BBY checkout field individually (and then the PIN number). It will save you a lot of time and hassle than dealing with a CS agent. Smilie

Grabbed a $100 Doordash GC and got the $20 promo credit immediately. Getting the credit so fast was a nice surprise. Still deciding what to use the credit on, depends if I find anything I want in the Prime Day sales or might just save for later.

if you have gift card balance there is no place to enter promo code. however amazon will honor incase you don't get the code. make sure you click on redeem button on gift card page. YMMV.

They are a lot less common than they used to be, but there are still occasional deals for them and the max limit is usually one.

I just checked and the last Apple gift card deal I bought from Amazon was in December. I also bought one from Amazon on Black friday, so that's two months in a row that I got a $100 Apple gift card from Amazon.

I'm not 100% sure if I got one on Amazon Prime day before, but if there is none, then I expect Amazon to offer it again on Black Friday.

my understanding is in order to use your gc balance, the entire gc balance must be $1 less than the total amount you are buying. in other words, you have to be able to use your entire gc balance against the purchase (without having any left over) or else it will prevent you. if you were trying to buy a $100 gc and you had $95 in amazon balance, you can use that plus pay $5 from elsewhere and it should work. if you have a $105 gc balance, it simply won't work; you get to use $0.

Those that purchased a Best buy gift card, are you having issues of trying to redeem the GC? BB site is showing that the GC is invalid.....
