It's not a big enough leap. I'd say they are pretty even performance wise. A rx7700 would be the better upgrade.

it would be a lateral upgrade and a waste of money. they'll trade blows depending on the game, but with 3070 you have DLSS (slightly more refined than FSR) and better raytracing performance, if you're into that.

No not a great upgrade, maybe 15-20% better in none raytraced titles.
