I've had this pair for 5 years. It's solid and slim but right after the 1st year the noise canceling got a lot louder to the point where I think it's defective. I haven't reached out to the company as i use it couple times a year but just a heads up

These are fine, they are fairly light, but if using indoors you'll want to double up with some foam plugs. Especially for large caliber or if you're next to someone using a brake.

Got a pair on black Friday 2022 for $25, this is decent price considering inflation.

I've had these for about 10 years, if not more...the batteries last a ridiculously long time, I've only had to replace them about twice, I think...maybe only once, can't remember with how infrequent it's needed.

I wore them when setting off fireworks, they did great when the shell goes off, but still can hear people around you.

Which is it? Why is Amazon's listing always full of conflicting information?

Would these be appropriate to use while cutting the grass or using woodworking equipment, like a miter or table saw?

These are good entry level electronic hearing. You can buy aftermarket gel cups for the ears which make them much more comfortable to wear.

I have these, I find them great for rifles since the low profile doesn't interfere with head position. As others have said, potentially doubling up may be helpful as you move up in load. For pistols, I prefer larger cans.

Original deal seems gone. And though not quite as good a deal, but found the teal-colored ones for $34. Got two. Thanks OP!

The price is now $78.49 when I click on the link. hmm

I bought this in 2011 for $45. A few years ago, I upgraded the cups to gel for better feeling and less pressure. Highly recommend! Noisefighters makes them, but I bought these from Amazon for $15
