After 20% trade in and $30 credit for my old kindle, the price difference is $50 between the 64gb and the 16gb version.

$50 worth it?

I tried but the 20% trade-in "rebate" does not apply to bundle. It's only for the Kindle Scribe by itself! And the 20% off trade-in is a rebate meaning you get the discount+tax after (delivery?). I told Amazon Customer Service that I felt cheated since the bundle shows "Save 20% with trade-in" but no cigar for me :-(!

It depends on the account. If you have a history of trade ins/your account is in "good standing" you will get the discount in the cart. If you have never done a trade or "frequently return items" they will make you wait until they receive the trade physically.
