Good straight up deal, without any ZipPay gimmicks. If it had 32GB of RAM, it would've been impossible to resist. But very good as it is too.
Return it and grab this one. A few nice upgrades and quite a bit of savings.
You can with 3rd party software like Openrgp. https://openrgb.org/

I don't know much about computers. My son is just starting out so we bought him this computer on a deal for $699 (see link below). Has not arrived yet. Whats better, the computer in this deal or the one on wal mart I linked?

I'm in the same boat but mine showed up yesterday. They're pretty much the same computer except the i5 in this machine is about 21% faster. From what I've been reading, the processor in both of these machines is the bottleneck for the rtx 4060.

My iBuyPower came with a ASRock b550 motherboard, Kingston SSD, Zotac graphics card, and I don't remember the ram brand at the moment, but it wasn't something I recognized right away. I didn't check the PSU. The case seems really nice to me for what it's worth.

The computer seems to work fine with the short time I spent with it last night. The fans were noticeable until I put it in silent mode and it still runs very cool. The only nitpick I have so far is that I can't get the RGB on the RAM to turn off yet. It did once but then it turned back on red, and since the restart after that it's been doing a rainbow pattern.

It sounds like with this Skytech you can't change or turn off the RGB on the CPU cooler if you care about that sort of thing.

I'm probably going to pull the trigger on this and see what kind of components it shows up with. I feel like the iBuyPower is a nice unit but the CPU is the weak spot in it.

Exactly reason why I didn't pull the trigger on the Walmart one, weak CPU

My iPower won't be here until next week so I pulled the trigger on this one instead. Might cancel the Walmart order. Or get the PC and decide which one to keep. Buy first, think later.

Unfortunately for me, Amazon still won't ship Skytech PCs to Illinois.

4060 and not a 4060ti makes this a deal breaker.

Is it worth an extra $50 and dealing with ZIP Pay to get the 14400F instead of 13400F?
https://slickdeals.net/f/17618697-acer-nitro-50-gaming-desktop-i5-14400f-rtx-4060-16gb-ddr5-1tb-ssd-w-zip-747-97

My quick research shows that the 14400F has very minimal improvement over the 13400F...

Deal looks good. I don't know anything about the manufacturer though.
My attempt to build a similar pc came out to just under $1000 without the mouse and keyboard and just the stock CPU cooler. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/x8YfQP

can the ram be replaced with ddr5? or would that require a different motherboard?
