I think Tineco is the leader is these wet vacs. I keep a SD alert in fact because I know I will own one when the right deal comes. They consistently get great reviews. One big note for this model is the run time - It's 20 minutes. That's ok for some but if you want to do a larger area you'll run out of juice. So then you start to look at the next model and justify spending a little more and it becomes a slippery slope, which is why I still haven't pulled the trigger. The upgrade always makes sense and then it's a lot more than I want to pay. Anyway, this is a solid machine and solid price as long as you are ok with the runtime.
See attached from Tineco's Amazon page to see the various models. the iFloor 5 Breeze is $200 and gives you a 35 minute runtime for example. It's easy to keep stepping it up. I don't know where the perfect balance is.

Is this better or worse than the BISSELL Crosswave?

I have like 10 vacuums at this rate. I'm at the point where it's worth paying 3x the price to replace two vacuums. The Tineco S7 Steam is the most attractive of the current lineup to replace my Tineco ifloor 3 (which is fine although the cleaning is sort of annoying) and then my corded steam mop, but I've heard mixed reviews on the S7 steam's steaming ability

Some LVP manufacturers say that you shouldn't use a steam cleaner on them.

I have neither, but cross-referencing the Amazon reviews, Crosswave purchasers say the Tineco is better, and Tineco purchasers say its better than the Crosswave. Gonna give this one a shot.

.
This was how I eventually wanted the S7. Thankfully I found something at a reasonable price. Check out the Dreame H12 Pro. It's just like the S7 with the edge to edge, except half the price. It also has a better docking station, it heat dries the mop roller. It's $270 atm with the prime sale going on

I have had this 2 and half years. First motor went out after a year. Second motor just went out again few weeks ago. With minimal use maybe once or twice a week.

Did you have warranty or they replaced it?

Thanks for this! I had actually ordered the Tineco S5 and never even heard of Dreame. After looking at the youtube comparisons, decided to return the S5 and ordered the H12 instead. Looks like a better choice all around and quite a bit cheaper as well since I was not charged sales tax ordering direct (I'm in a high sales tax state). Also got 10% off with code DREAMENEW.
Came out to $243 for the H12 vs $284 for the S5.

I'm thinking about picking one up but nervous about the overall customer service, seems like some bad reviews on that front

I've got the iFLOOR 3 and am a big fan; I hate mopping and can't use steam on cork flooring so this is a godsend. A couple things to think of while reviewing models:
  1. Battery life is limited, you can do two-three decently sized rooms before needing to recharge
  2. The roller doesn't go all the way across the front edge, there'll be ~.5" on each between the path and the wall
  3. Cleanup isn't bad but it's not great either; self-cleaning is okay but you'll need to pull the head each time to clean the intake, especially if you have pets
That said, I'll still take this any day over mopping!

My only interaction with their customer service was when they had a sale like a few days after I received mine. I asked for a refund in the price difference and they gave it to me no problem. I assure you, you'll find plenty bad about Tineco's customer service and their products. Reddit is filled with it. Other than them raising prices by a lot over the last few years, those complaints are why I wanted to find another brand.
