I have 2 of these sets and they're good basic wireless keyboard/mouse sets. The batteries last a very long time with daily use. Logitech quality is better than most at this price point.

I picked this set up from Microcenter last week as a cheap hold over. The dongle picks up interference horribly. To alleviate I ran a usb cord and moved it away from the computer. Paid 16 with a coupon there. Otherwise it's "ok"

this doesn't look like it has the unifying receiver.

but does the keyboard support another unifying receiver if I have an extra

No, you can't from what I read/tried use a unifying receiver on this one. I tried to pair it with one myself.
