In case anyone is interested, unless something has changed - and I doubt it, this is double sided and not good for slim laptops.

If you want a single sided 4TB drive, you have to get the 990 Pro.

With tech advancing, 4TB of memory with heatsink should already be well under $200. Come on now world economy

Is this overkill for my Ps5. Really was looking for a deal for a 2TB, but this seems like more than I will ever use and im trying to justify the extra $90-100

Yep, B&H with Payboo is ALWAYS the slick deal. (And you can usually get them to price match, too -- you should have tried on this one.)

It was a Walmart price error from back in March that was corrected within about an hour; very few people were able to get it.

Honestly, from what I gather over the years watching NVME prices & review. Both the P41 Platinum & SN850x are very close in terms of performance, both have Dram, 1200TBW. You won't see any different in daily use & work, even in gaming; You may see some slight different if you ran bench mark and the different is negligible at best. Both brand are solid, just pick the one with the lower price or better warranty record.
