Yes, a quick tip is to flip over the head cushion over. Then you will get a really nice neck massage!

I see this is a promoted post. I do not know a lot about these chairs. Would most of you consider this a slick deal or this just one of these overly inflated retail price to make it look like a slick deal type of thing?

The other deal 3D Opulent seems to be a better chair

Looks like this is regular OS line. Opulent is Pro-OS line

I've been doing A LOT of research on chairs lately, a few of my takeaways:
  • Yes, the prices are inflated. At any given moment you will see anywhere from $1000-2000 off a chair whether it's a base model chair like this one or a premium model
  • ClearanceChair seems to have hit or miss on vendor reliability and customer service. They are clearly a paid vendor to the SD staff and often gets shilled here, so YMMV.
  • EVERY review of EVERY chair has a very weird 50/50 split of good and bad reviews. I'm talking from low to high end chairs. I can't make sense of it.
  • External reviews from influencers are also hit or miss, some recommend junky Amazon chairs and some take the time to push their premium chairs only. Again, the more research and reading I've done, the more I see that there truly is no general consensus of what a good chair is
  • lastly, buy from Costco. These chairs seem to break a lot and finding a good vendor to support you through the warranty seems to be critical. I just did that.

Thanks for the info and definitely agree! I've only tested massage chairs out when they demo the Human Touch chairs once in awhile at Costcos during their roadshows but those chairs are like $8k. I ordered and just received the $1500 Osaki 3D opulent that was posted on the other thread. Definitely a bargain for the price. I was debating whether to order from Costco the 3D Aspire model which seemed very similar in spec but it would have been about $600 more including taxes. Figured it wasn't worth the price difference. Hopefully it lasts at least 5 years without any issues

NICE! I mean, if the chair actually lasts 5 years, you'd be committing highway robbery with that deal at $1500. Goodluck to you.

How do you like the neck/shoulder massage? I also tried the HT supernovo 2 when it was at costco and loved it. I haven't really sat in a chair in the $1-3k range that really did a good job like that one did.

After 3 years the leather on the head, shoulder and legs are ripped. Contacted Osaki and they told me its not under warranty and they don't sell replacement either because the model discontinued. I bought it 3 years ago.

I have an almost identical chair on the Titan line that was refurbished/open box from clearancechair for $1299. The airbags in the leg massager quit working about 14 days out. The customer support was friendly, and sent out a technician within 2-3 weeks (not ideal, but they never questioned warranty repair). They also allowed me to extend the original 30 day parts/labor warranty to 2 years for $349. Overall I was very pleased with the experience. We have loved the chair and my wife uses it almost daily. No regrets and would buy from clearance chairs again.

i did the same thing. Purchase the opulent. I am little disappointed. The feelings is totally different between $8k roadshow chair in Costco compare to this one. The opulent is very weak at back massage and hurt my butt so much. The stretch function is only stretching your legs not like the one on the roadshow can stretch ur whole body with gravity. I am kind of regretting. I guess can't return anymore.
