AW-650 Average price is $326/pair. They were $255 back in 2018 (yes, you can borrow my time machine).

Maybe for the 650, but the 525 are at previous FP level.

I have the 525 and the older KHO-7 and I personally think the KHO-7 sound much better. The 525 are still decent for this price though. I use them on my outside decks.

I bought the AW-650 years ago from Adorama on clearance for $259+tax and they still sound great after being outside in PHX. summers for over 4 years. If you like bass go with the 650 and enjoy. These speakers are also very efficient and work great even with smaller amps/receivers like my tiny Yamaha stereo.

I paid $289 for the 650's in March and this is the closest deal I've seen to that. I ended up sending them back, but if you're looking for reasonably priced outdoor speakers, these are a good option.

what did you not link about the speakers? What was your alternative?

I demo'd the 525's, 650's, Atrium 6, and Definitive Technologies AW6500. I ended up preferring the sound of the AW6500 by a huge margin.

With that said, I don't tend to lean towards Klipsch's sound signature.
