To be honest I never looked into 24/7 recording because I still have not found a suitable storage drive for the homebase3.

But if im not mistaking they have better options for 24/7 recording cameras that have a little light under them as well.

Yes, you can disable the floodlight from the app and you can turn the 24/7 recording on SD card.

Yeah, most likely if the house was wired to code in the last 30 years, the exterior lights and and outlets should be downstream of a GFCI receptacle- prolly near the breaker box. Or of course a GFCI breaker.

Good to know, thanks! Mine is abou t70 years old and the receptacle will be tapped into one by the garage. I assume the power receptacle is going to be inside as this will go outside the garage door entrance. Hopefully the electrician that's going to be drilling and setting up everything accounts for this Embarrassment
