Other than that it's a decent card and the Eno one-time/one-vendor card numbers are very helpful.

Had this original C1 card for for over 15 years so I imagine if I cancel this card after I got the new one would affect my credit score. Am I incorrect thinking this way?
This is what I was going to say, they have a disclaimer saying they will price match if you call them. After years with Chase I switched to Venture X for a good bonus offer. I don't like the transfer partners nearly as much as Chase and I've stopped using it. Just used it for the free Global entry and will cancel prior to renewing. I just have to figure where to park my points before canceling.
Get venture one or downgrade. No annual fee and u can still transfer to airlines with that card.

Capital one hella picky
Um none lol
Or are you talking specifically about some sort of bonus credit as part of signing up for the Venture X? Because yes, that would obviously be a nice extra. When the card first became available, there was such a bonus travel credit for signing up, I think it was worth $200. But that's long gone.
Got mine. It does feel like the wait for the bonus drags on another month
How do we get it ? or do i have to reach out to customer service if it does not come automatically ?
