It works, but you need strong hands
I would recommend one handed ratchet tool, easy to maneuver in tight space (e.g. under the sink, behind stuff)

I have this set. Bought it some years ago but it didn't come with the box (I like that it comes with a box now). It's definitely not good enough for professional work, but I would recommend it for anyone doing DIYing. I used it to reroute some tubing in my house during a remodel. I found it better than the copper ring-type crimper because it works one different size pipes. You just need to have the correct size rings. You can also remove the rings using the same tool.

Based on the pictures, they seem to have made some minor improvements to the one I have. For example, the crimping/cutting selector on my is painted black, like the rest of the tool, so it's really hard to see which setting you are on. And yes, it does make a different on how to tool works.

Considering the reliability of no name Amazon electrical crimp connectors, I don't know if I'd trust these to hold up. But considering you get the crimper cutter and 30 rings for less than I paid for just the crimper at bigbox, might be worth it, just please pressure test your system before sealing it all up

I've used iCrimps 1/2 and 3/4 ring crimper for about 3 years now professionally. Has held up great and still solid on the go/no-go without needing adjustment yet
