Honestly, really great timer. Had mine for five years without an issue. Must have for any home owner and most used smarty device to specially if you repair your own sprinklers and drip system.

You don't have to run around to go to the box.

For those interested there is a home bridge plug-in to work with HomeKit. I still don't know what I'm going to do with it but I prefer homekit automations over Alexa and Google home/ass(istant)

i would avoid them for rental, they go bad really soon. The first on did not last a year, warranty replacement was dead in 6-7 months. Renter made no mention, killed the lawn in summer heat.

I have this mounted indoor in the garage. Works well. On occasion it drops wifi, but rebooting it usually fixes the issue. It doesn't happen that often.

The only gripe I have is with the app when using "smart watering". For example, let's say I have two zones. On the calendar overview, it will show that it has scheduled watering for a certain day, but it won't indicate which zone will be watered. I need to go into each calendar day to see which zone it plans to water. Not a big deal if it were quick to load the individual calendar day, but it's a little slower than I'd like it to be.
