Works better than any drain auger so long as there is standing water. Note for this to work there has to be standing water.
Usually plumbers either invest in the 800+ version of these or rent them from plumbing stores when they cannot buy. At this price it is worth having one at home even if the quality may not match the $800+ ones.
I have one and so far so good after using on 3 clogs. A bit rough on the edges - so use gloves and you don't need to go over the green area - just do it 2 or three times in the low geren.

Depending on what you're using this for I'd manually clear the clog first or use a drain auger. https://www.amazon.com/Cobra-8425...006C68VCK/

If it's like hair stuck in your shower drain or bath faucet drain just get one of those plastic snakes, or take the P trap and drain stopper out and clean them out manually. https://www.homedepot.com/p/THEWO.../306535939

If you need this, you probably should be buying Metamucil instead of a kinetic plunger. Pressurized shit pipes sounds like a potentially disastrous affair.

I have not used it on toilets only on sinks and tubs where it has worked great and has no bad side effects if the pressure is maintained within the green zone. I saw a plumber use the pro version of this as a last resort after all their efforts with drain snakes failed and that is how I found it. So probably not a good idea for wax rings, but certainly works on hair and food clogged bath tubs and sinks. The reason the drain augers and snakes don't always work is the hair becomes a hard mass that the tip just does not engage with it or does not have enough hold to pull it back and then you are left with a spinning auger that is not able to dislodge the block of hair that is struck in the p-trap.

100% useless if the clog is after the vent pipe as the air will just go up the vent.

Also, this is a good way to get poop spray all over yourself and the bathroom walls.

Spend the money on a quality auger and if you're typically having issues with organic blockages, invest the time and effort doing an enzyme treatment.

I used to use something like this to clear my camp's drains at the end of my stay in the winter. Since there wasn't a clog, no harm no foul.
