OXO doesn't seem to be participating much for prime day. I was hoping for some containers and other kitchen utensils.

OXO parent company announced very bad revenue numbers this quarter due to issues they were having bringing their new high tech distribution center online and to scale. It could be they have an inability to deliver many products, so no ability to participate.

Usually the mechanism or basket breaks before the bowl, probably not worth the extra $$$ unless you really want the SS look.

We love ours, putting in that extra 5 minutes of work to prep romaine in this means 2-3 weeks of fresh salad. Bagged salad comes out like compost half the time, it's nasty…and costs 5-10x as much, not counting spoilage.

It's also dishwasher safe AS LONG AS you don't use heated dry. My MIL did that once and we ended up with a useless oval Smilie

I got the smaller version for a few years and it works great. I'm not gentle one it but it's been holding up fine.
