Does anyone have any experience with this? I am seeing it on the companies home page for $127 and home depot has it for $149. eBay has it manufacturer reconditioned $111. Curious about quality and effectiveness.

Lol "whole house" systems what a scam no way this little shit can have you drink from the bathtub

Do yourself a favor and get yourself a pentair system
I agree. My small system for drinking water / fridge water is double the size of this.

Any whole house system you would recommend?

pentair is decently expensive. Any other systme you reccomend?

I run a 250 Micron filter (washable) into a 2.5ft tall A.O Smith (lowes) Carbon Filter and it seems to do ok for the most part!

Under sink water drop G3. Needs power. Not sure why you need to be able to drink your toilet and bath water. Maybe for kids?

Where can we find trusted independent reviews on whole home water softener systems?

It's so cute…. I bet it'll leak trying to filter the whole house.
Clogging is more likely, especially with no sediment filter.

I need a water filter and softener system. Softener for the whole house. Would be nice to have some filter systems in the kitchen (and fridge) and master bathroom sink.

I don't know about this thing though...

I own one of these and use it for the whole house. But my house is really small (1 bath) so for that i can say it works well. It filters all the water in my house other than for the sprinkler system/outdoor spigot. No complaints. First unit did have a crack but thats cause i absolutely overtightened the connections. Second one has had no problems for the last year and a half.

This is great for city water where it's highly treated with chlorine. That's about it. If you're concerned about hard water, this won't help. Calcium, magnesium, and salt are not easy to remove and you really need a water softener if your concern is hard water.

I got my a water boss water softener from menards. I am on my 2nd one in 26 years. I think I could have replaced the beads from the first one but the cost was almost equal to just replace the unit. they go on sale sometimes.

Have been using two 20" Big Blue filters with washable filters for several years to filter well water. 30 then a 5 micron. Even after 12 months those filters look good and could go another 12. ymmv 30 - calcite tank - water softener - 5 - uv light.

Good info, looking to set up my system similarly. Where are your pressure regulator and expansion tank placed? Before filtration?
