Have the 8 GB RAM, and turning on the "reduce animations" (Settings -> Accessibility -> Vision enhancements -> Reduce animations (toggle on) made a HUGE difference and is a game changer! Feels much faster and snappier in response. Initially had animations reduced to 0.5x under the developer option, and still felt jittery at times. But the reduce animation makes this feel like a $500+ tablet!

+1, $154 via Shop Samsung app. I had just ordered on Amazon for $189, canceled before it shipped, thank you very much! Still getting Fire MAX 11 tablet, refurbished 128gb also, no ads for $140 to compare. Samsung at this lower price almost confirms a return for the fire max 11

I wish they were more aggressive with their tablet tradeins like they are with their phones.

Or do something like accept any tablet any condition like they do with watches, phones, buds, etc.

Ads arent a big deal for fire max 11 64gb I have.
Large screen is nice. Needed a tablet fairly quickly because my iPad 7th gen stopped charging and it would cost $180 to fix charging port. Ended up buying firemax for $120 and trading in an unused echo dot. Also installing Google play store was surprisingly fast. Just found a website and youtube videos for directions.

Buyer beware! I bought one and it is terrible. The Wi-Fi is awful. I can't go upstairs in my house or the bathroom without losing reception. It constantly buffers unless I'm in the same room as the router. This is probably why it's so cheap. I would not recommend it or buy it.

Worked for me exiting the education store price changed. Was able to do a trade in also for an old tab a7. 124$ plus tax is pretty good for a solid upgrade to the kids tablet.
