Have the 8 GB RAM, and turning on the "reduce animations" (Settings -> Accessibility -> Vision enhancements -> Reduce animations (toggle on) made a HUGE difference and is a game changer! Feels much faster and snappier in response. Initially had animations reduced to 0.5x under the developer option, and still felt jittery at times. But the reduce animation makes this feel like a $500+ tablet!

Is this deal so good that I should buy first, think later?

For context, I have no use for a tablet, except reading manga and watching movie/anime/youtube, which I'm already doing on a Surface Pro. I also have an old Kindle Paperwhite for ebook but I rarely read it.

Logically, I think another tablet would serve no purpose for me, but again this looks so tempting...

You said it yourself, I think anyone buying this would probably rather have a surface pro if they had the choice. It's just a media consumption device, which you already have.

How about for fire max 11 which I already have? I mainly use it for checking social media and streaming apps, don't really game but I know Samsung allows streaming of Xbox gamepass ultimate apps

same here, they give you 15 days as well irrespective of opened or not but yes you need to have give back everything as it came in the box, including the box

Insane deal.

If I hadn't bought a pixel tablet for $300 on Prime day, I'd be all over this. I think the price is a great trade off for the slower processor and lower screen resolution.
