Have the 8 GB RAM, and turning on the "reduce animations" (Settings -> Accessibility -> Vision enhancements -> Reduce animations (toggle on) made a HUGE difference and is a game changer! Feels much faster and snappier in response. Initially had animations reduced to 0.5x under the developer option, and still felt jittery at times. But the reduce animation makes this feel like a $500+ tablet!

Anyone knows why the price reverts to 154 after adding to cart?

I read a few pages back that many are having that problem. But not sure if anyone found a solution yet.

Anyone owned the A8 and compares it to this A9? If the speed is much better and less laggy? The A8 can lag from time to time

I got $125.15 plus taxes using a new account in the app with my edu email and using a referral code I generated from my main Samsung account. (I contracted customer service who told me in the app you need a .edu account to get the student discount). Thanks, OP!

I couldn't get the free shipping no matter what payment option I tried, so went with in store pickup.

I don't think it's the payment option, it's the color. For me, silver and navy were free shipping, but graphite was $10 shipping
