Seems more like you're just saving $1-$2. Unless I'm mistaken this other kit on Amazon seems more or less the same.

Or a mobile paint guy. Body shop usually wants to redo the entire panel and not spot fix.

This is one of the better scratch fix products that even some detail guys I know uses. It comes with a wipe on type clear coat that if you use with some good touch up paint, wet sanding and machine polishing will give you a 100% fix even for deep scratches that goes into the base coat.
But you really need to know what you are doing. Otherwise you will almost always make it worse.

Yes, this is for any painted vehicle body, for paint job scratch repairs.
